La última vez que intenté colorear digitalmente un trazo el resultado fue desastroso y totalmente olvidable. Eso ocurrió hace cerca de 4 o 5 años. Desde entonces me dediqué a Usar Photoshop solamente para hacer algunos retoques fotográficos domésticos y crear muchos wallpapers ([link] ).

Al ver este trazado de Kalisama hubo algo que me llamó la atención (no sé exactamente que) así que decidí jugar un poco y poner a prueba mis conocimientos usando únicamente PhotoShop CS3, sin pinceles ni texturas personalizados, y usando solamente un plug-in (Eye Candy). A medida que avanzaba me dí cuenta que de verdad podría hacer algo que resultara medianamente decente.

El caso es que acabé enamorándome de la labor, y él resultado final es este.

Ya que es mi segundo intento en colorear algo digitalmente (y el primero en más de 4 años) les pido que por favor tengan en cuenta mi inexperiencia al momento de hacer sus comentarios ^^¡ Sé que hay muchos errores y el uso de herramientas no fue precisamente el mejor. Pero de momento es lo mejor que puedo hacer.

Last time I traed to digitally colour something the result was as disastrous as forgettable. it happened some 4-5 years ago, and since then I started using Photoshop only for home photographic retouch and to create several wallpapers ([link] ).

When I saw this lineart by Kalisama there was something that attracted me (I really don’t know what). Anyway, I decided to play a little and put my knowledge to the test using only PhotoShop CS3, without custom brushes or textures, and using only the occasional aid of one plug-in (Eye Candy). As I advanced I realised I could do something decent.

In the end, I fell in love with the work, and this is the end result.

Since it is my second attempt to apply digital colour (and my first one in over 4 years) I beg you to take my inexperience into account when making comments ^^¡ I know there’s plenty of mistakes, and the use of the tools could be improved. But for the time being this is the best I can do.
