Rayearth - metal embossed symbol by Rubenandres77 Rayearth - metal embossed symbol by Rubenandres77
Fans of Magic Knight Rayearth will instantly recognize this: Rayearth's symbol. Based on the illustration that appears on Book 4 of the manga. Rayearth is the God-machine awakaned by Hikaru. The element is fire.

Size: 29 cms in diameter (about 11,5 inches)
Materials: One single sheet of aluminum. Wood base.
Time: about 50 hours in total.

The photo shows the finished piece and some WIP photos.

I really enjoyed making this piece. Especially since it is so complex. The big challenge was to make it using only one piece of aluminum. It was hard, but the end result was very satisfactory.

I really don't know if I will make the other two symbols (Seles and Windam). Probably I will, but not very soon.

Ruben, esto es papel aluminio? o es una lamina de metal?

Diana, es una lámina de metal. El grosor es aproximadamente 0,12 mm y la lámina se consigue en tamaño pliego o medio pliego.
